Using oil on canvas, Courtney Sendzik has created various collections of paintings that are bound by one common thread. While exploring the chosen subject matter, whether it is equine related, landscape, or otherwise, each painting is a manifestation of a deeper, hidden feeling or thought. Using painting as a meditation this artist creates a sense of mood through brushstroke and palette, and the subject matter often chosen for it's symbolic nature, inevitably becomes a representation of human emotion.

Courtney Sendzik is a Canadian painter working primarily with oil on canvas. After graduating college with a diploma in graphic design, she continued on to achieve her honours degree in visual arts at Brock University with a focus on studio arts. Creating work for private commissions and displaying work around wine country and beyond, painting is a necessary extension of this artist's being. In 2009, Courtney also created Grenadine Photography, which after having practiced art photography for many years directs her love for image toward a social milieu.
